Internal Peace: Finding Peace Of Mind

Mind Mind potential

“Peace is the number one beautiful ornament you can wear, I really believe that. They say you should always wear a smile, but I don’t believe that you should “always” wear a smile, seriously, you’re going to look stupid! But peace, you should always carry peace within you; it’s the most beautifying thing you could ever have or do. Peace makes your heart beautiful, and it makes you look beautiful, too. You want to have perfect physical posture when you stand, sit, and walk, and peace is the perfect posture of the soul, really. Try perfect posture outside as well as inside. Peace creates grace, and grace gives peace.― C. JoyBell C. ”

Inhale and Exhale

Slow down, and take some deep breaths. Take out at least ten minutes from your busy schedule and practice breathing exercises. Focusing on your breath is a great way of shifting your mindset from negative to positive. All the restlessness you feel can be overcome by doing breathing exercises.

Find a quiet place in your house, light a scented candle, play soft meditation music, and sit on the floor on the mat. Slowly breathe in through your nose, hold your breath for five seconds, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. You will feel your body relax and light. Do this exercise every day, and you’ll experience inner peace in no time.

Know That You’re Loved

Sometimes, we feel restless because we feel unsafe. Understand that you’re in a safe place and loved. Talk to your friends and family or your support system to get the confirmation. It helps to connect with your loved ones. Isolating yourself or being too busy in your life to not give time to your loved ones can also impact our inner peace.

Visualize Your Place

Visualizing your happy place is a type of mindful meditation that helps you achieve inner peace and makes you feel grounded. Again, find a quiet room, sit on the floor, or lie down on your bed, open the window to let the fresh breeze in, play soft music, and light a scented candle. Think about your favorite location on the planet, and visualize yourself there. Try to do this a few times a week. It will help you feel grounded and happy. Sometimes, visualization can help you take the actions required for making your dreams and goals come true. You will automatically feel at peace when doing things to make your dreams come true.
